Warranty runs by grade: one-trip units carry a 10 year structural and 10 year no-leak warranty, cargo worthy and wind and water tight units carry a 5 year structural and 5 year no-leak warranty, and economy units carry a 1 year roof leak warranty.

Starting prices name the container grade and the city, delivered to a standard-access location in that city. What you pay depends on the size, grade and condition you choose, on what is in stock when you order, and on the access at your site. Sites with restricted access may carry an additional delivery charge. Container One sets prices, and they change without notice. Your written quote gives the price for your order. Prices as of 2026-09-30. Full pricing terms.

How It Works

From first question to a container on your property.

1

Tell Us What You Need

Use the form, call or text with your ZIP code, the container type and roughly when you need it.

2

Get Your Quote

The delivered price depends on the size, the grade and your delivery address in Illinois. Your written quote includes delivery.

3

Delivered to Your Property

The driver sets the container at the spot you choose, such as a driveway, job site, field or yard, when the truck has the access and clearance it needs. Container One's Delivery/Dispatch department schedules a date and time after payment is received and the location, weather and access are reviewed.

Statewide Coverage

Container Delivery Across Illinois

From Chicagoland to Southern Illinois, Container One delivers wherever the truck has the access and clearance it needs.

Delivery conditions in Illinois change well beyond Chicago. The northeast combines city streets, suburban properties and freight corridors. Northwest Illinois includes the Rock River valley and rolling land around smaller towns. Peoria sits along the Illinois River, with bluff neighborhoods above the riverfront. Central Illinois has broad stretches of grain country around its cities and university communities. The western edge follows the Mississippi River, where bottomland and upland sites need different access conversations. Farther south, the wooded Shawnee landscape adds slopes and rock. A useful quote starts with the actual entrance and placement area: surface, turns, overhead clearance and room for the delivery truck, plus support under the corners and a path for future removal.

Quick Answers

Common Questions

Start with the delivery ZIP, container size and intended use. Then describe the property entrance, surface and preferred door direction. Photos taken from the road toward the placement spot are more useful than a photo of the empty pad alone. Mention gates, parked vehicles, overhead lines and any change in grade so access can be reviewed before scheduling.
Not all three. As of September 30, 2026, Chicago and Rockford have the same delivered prices, and Peoria is higher for the same size and grade. That comparison applies to ZIP codes 60601, 61602 and 61101, not every address in the surrounding counties. Compare the same container grade and size when reviewing quotes, and ask whether the quoted total includes the delivery to your actual placement address.
List what must fit, then measure the route the delivery vehicle will travel. A 40ft unit may suit bulk material or a long storage aisle, while a 20ft unit can be easier to fit into a constrained site layout. Neither choice makes a narrow Chicago alley, steep Peoria approach or soft rural lane automatically suitable. Door direction and the space needed to use the doors matter after the truck leaves. Send the site details with your inventory so size and delivery access can be considered together.
Container One's Delivery/Dispatch department schedules the date and time after payment is received and the site is reviewed. A price inquiry does not reserve a truck. Tell us about fixed project dates and any restrictions on when the site can receive a truck. Illinois weather, a wet approach, a blocked gate or another contractor occupying the unloading space can change a workable plan. Leave time to prepare the site and verify access again shortly before delivery, especially if the approach is unpaved.

What the rules actually say where you are, before the container arrives.

Shipping Container Permits in Illinois: Chicago, Peoria and Rockford

Before arranging delivery, identify who reviews the actual parcel and how they classify the intended use. Compare Chicago container-storage facility provisions, Peoria placement questions and Rockford temporary moving pods, with primary sources and a practical list of information to bring to the local office.

Container Homes in Illinois: Land, Code Review and the Finished Space

A container home starts with the land and the finished living space, not just a steel box. Follow an Illinois planning sequence through the parcel review, modular dwelling question, interior layout, services and delivery route before deciding which container belongs in the project.
