S&CC Group Inc. runs Illinois Storage Containers. Container One supplies and delivers every container.
I served nearly 14 years as a United States Marine before moving into the container industry. The Corps taught me that details matter, that commitments are kept, and that you do not leave someone hanging when they are counting on you. That is the standard I bring to this business.
I came into this business because buying a container was harder than it needed to be. People were paying for units they had never seen, then meeting a delivery charge nobody had quoted them.
Site conditions matter too. A property on rural acreage needs a different delivery plan than a tight lot in Chicago.
I built Illinois Storage Containers to make buying a container in Illinois simple: clear pricing, clear container grades and a written quote before you commit.
Every Illinois delivery needs 110 ft of straight, unobstructed space for a 20ft container or 130 ft for a 40ft, at least 15 ft of height to drive, at least 22 ft of height along the entire unloading path and at least 10 ft of width.
Delivery conditions in Illinois change well beyond Chicago. The northeast combines city streets, suburban properties and freight corridors. Northwest Illinois includes the Rock River valley and rolling land around smaller towns. Peoria sits along the Illinois River, with bluff neighborhoods above the riverfront. Central Illinois has broad stretches of grain country around its cities and university communities. The western edge follows the Mississippi River, where bottomland and upland sites need different access conversations. Farther south, the wooded Shawnee landscape adds slopes and rock. A useful quote starts with the actual entrance and placement area: surface, turns, overhead clearance and room for the delivery truck, plus support under the corners and a path for future removal.
The truck approach and the support beneath the container can be different surfaces with different limitations. Inspect the whole route and the ground under each of the container's four corners. Ponding, uneven settlement and recently disturbed soil deserve attention before unloading. A site photograph should show the surrounding ground, not just the rectangle where the container will sit.
The quote form has room to describe the access road, the ground, the placement spot and local permit rules, because sites across Illinois differ and the quote has to fit yours.
Container One supplies every container from its depot network. Distance from the depot is one of the things that sets the delivered price.
The written quote includes delivery to your Illinois address.
